PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a locking mechanism of a sealing device for a movable partition wall which enables a sure locking/unlocking operation while having a simple structure. SOLUTION: Folding link mechanisms 8 and 9 are connected to a seal member 11 which protrudes from/recedes into the end of a movable partition panel. An operating rod 5 which is connected to the link mechanisms 8 and 9, advances and recedes so that the sealing device S for the movable partition wall MV can make the sealing member 11 advance and recede with respect to the end of the panel. A locking bar 22 is provided on one end side, for example, the back end side of the operating rod 5 in such an attitude as to be inclined in the receding direction of the rod 5 by inserting the rod 5 through a hole formed at the locking bar. The receding motion of the operating rod 5 is inhibited by making the operating rod 5 bite into the hole 22a of the locking bar 22 in the inclined attitude, and permitted by bringing the locking bar 22 into an erect attitude.
