A system and a method for converting syndicated contents for mobile delivery are provided to deliver various formats of contents in a mobile environment by embedding metadata in syndicated contents feed. A searcher searches contents, which include embedded metadata and embedded contents, issued by a CP(Content Provider). An extractor extracts the embedded metadata from the issued contents. A wrapper generates wrapped contents by wrapping the embedded contents with the extracted metadata. A checker checks whether the issued contents are syndicated contents or enveloped contents. The checker prevents the wrapper from wrapping the extracted contents and permits the extractor to extract the metadata for a delivery server(120), which communicates with a delivery client(140) through a wireless network(130), when the issued contents are the enveloped contents. The checker orders the wrapper to use default channel setting when the issued contents are not the syndicated and enveloped contents.
