摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection control device for an internal combustion engine, which suppresses the deviation of an air/fuel ratio due to the influence of secondary injection during divided injection. SOLUTION: An ECU 1for controlling fuel injection of the internal combustion engine 50 comprises a specified divided injection controlling means carrying out new fuel injection during a period after injecting fuel until the occurrence of the secondary injection, when the divided injection of the fuel is carried out. Concretely, the specified divided injection controlling means injects the fuel, and then carries out new fuel injection according to an injection interval determined in advance. The specified divided injection controlling means carries out the fuel injection, for example, when the divided fuel injection is carried out and when a fuel injection period per one injection is not more than a predetermined value. The occurrence of the secondary injection during the fuel injection period is prevented thereby, so that the deviation of the air/fuel ratio due to the influence of the secondary injection during the divided injection is suppressed.
