PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical filter which enhances the contrast of an image display device in a bright room. SOLUTION: The optical filter includes a filter layer having absorption maximums respectively in a wavelength region of 380-420 nm, in a wavelength region of 480-520 nm, and in a wavelength region of 585-620 nm.
