PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rapidly lower an interior temperature even when a cooler is started at the high outside air temperature. SOLUTION: In this vehicle air conditioner provided with a refrigerating cycle and an air conditioner duct 9, the amount of heat transferred in an evaporator 6 from conditioned air to a refrigerant is suppressed until a predetermined time elapses from starting of the air conditioner. The amount of heat transferred in the evaporator 6 is suppressed in such a manner that the conditioned air after passing through the evaporator 6 is circulated upstream the evaporator 6, the outside air temperature is introduced when the outside air temperature is lower than the inside air temperature, and the output of a blower fan 10 is suppressed.
