A manhole cover structure is provided to have a closure function and a noise prevention function by making a manhole cover and a manhole support in contact with each other laterally, and to prevent noise occurrence and abnormal opening effectively by forming an end projection on an internal wall of a manhole support and supporting the side of the manhole cover. A manhole cover structure comprises a manhole cover(10) and a manhole support(20), wherein the inside of the manhole support and the outside of the manhole cover are divided into upper and lower contact surfaces(12,22) and lower contact surfaces(14,24), and the inside diameter and the outside diameter of the lower contact surfaces are smaller than the inside diameter and the outside diameter of the upper contact surfaces to have end projections(26) on the boundary, so that if the manhole cover is closed to the manhole support, the upper and lower contact surfaces are in contact with each other entirely and the end projections are placed correspondingly to make the manhole cover and the manhole support in contact with each other laterally. |
