An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) device and a display apparatus are provided to improve light transmittance by improving an aperture ratio and improve contrast of the LCD. Plural scan line(11) and plural signal lines are disposed in a matrix on a first substrate(10). A driving device is disposed in an intersection between the scan lines and the signal lines. A first insulating layer(13) is installed on the first substrate in a state of covering the driving device. A common electrode(14) is disposed on the first insulating layer. A second insulating layer(15) is disposed on the first insulating layer in a state of covering the common electrode. A pixel electrode(16) is disposed on the second insulating layer within a pixel area, and has plural slits. The pixel electrode is connected with the driving device through contact holes formed in the first and second insulating layers. The common electrode is disposed in a state of covering the pixel area except a formation area of the contact hole on the first insulating layer and at least one of the scan line and the signal line.
