The utility model relates to construction, in particular to the building blocks. The building block comprises two oriented towards each other lateral walls (1), limiting the longitudinal planes of the block, and a core of heat-insulating material (2) placed between them. Novelty consists in that onto the inner surfaces of the lateral walls (1) there are made transverse flutes, convergent towards the core (2), and onto the upper and lower end faces of the lateral walls (1) there are made longitudinal flutes. The transverse flutes may be made of rectangular or semicircular form in section.
