<p>A pump assembly 20, for use in an air conditioning system, comprises a pump and a reservoir 54. The pump has an inlet 52, in fluid communication with the reservoir 54, and an outlet 53. The reservoir 54 has an inlet 21, which may be connected to a tray 32 of an air conditioning evaporator unit 33 (see figure 2 ) such that condensate collected in the tray 32 can be pumped to a drain through the pump outlet 53, 22. A magnetic float switch 56 may be used to control the operation of the pump, or to activate an alarm if an abnormal level of fluid is detected in the reservoir 54. The pump assembly 20 may be housed in an elbow 10 (see figures 1 and 3) of a conduit arrangement, which may also contain a channel to allow the routing of additional cables, pipework etc. 34 (see figures 4 and 5).</p> |
