The utility model relates to the heat exchanging engineering, in particular to devices operating in the regime of heat or cold accumulation and of rejection thereof as may be necessary and can be used in the heat and cold supply systems of different technological objects, for example, of greenhouses, drying units, residential and industrial buildings. The cold or heat accumulator consists of a body (1), made in the form of rectangular parallelepiped, which together with covers (2) and (3) forms a closed heat-insulated volume. Inside the body (1), parallel to covers (2) and (3), there are placed solid plane partitions (4), fixed to the lateral walls of the body with formation of a window (5) to one of the opposite lateral walls. With the help of partitions (4), inside the body there are formed rectangular in section channels (6), (7), (8), communicating through the windows (5) with each other, forming a single through channel for sequential flowing of the gaseous medium through all the channels. The inner space of each channel is filled with bottles (9) with liquid, closely installed parallel to each other, forming rows, the number of rows being determined by the volume of the channel and the dimensions of the bottles. At the inlet into the channel (6), being the first in the direction of passage of the gaseous medium flow, into the body (1) it is installed a gaseous medium supply branch pipe (10). At the outlet from the channel (8), being the last in the direction of passage of the gaseous medium flow, into the body (1) it is installed a gaseous medium discharge branch pipe (11).
