PURPOSE: To eliminate the splashing of a coating material by forming the film of a polymer contg. a carboxylic acid portion and an antistatically effective amt. of quaternary amine, polyolefin and granular conductive filler or a mixture composed of both. CONSTITUTION: The antistatically conductive film is formed of the copolymer contg. theαolefin andα,βethylenic unsatd. carboxylic acid and the mixture mixed with the antistatically effective amt. of the quaternary amine or the polyolefin contg. the granular conductive filler (carbon, aluminum or the like) or the mixture composed of both described above. When the film is used as masking at the time of electrostatic spray painting, the splashing of the coating material does not arise any more and there is no possibility of sparking/ explosion. In addition, the accumulation of dust does not occur. Further, grounding is made possible.
