BUCKLING RESISTANCE EVALUATION METHOD OF CONVEYOR BELT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a buckling resistance evaluation method of a conveyor belt constituted so as to simply evaluate the buckling resistance of the conveyor belt without performing the bending test or the like of a test sample. SOLUTION: At the time of operation of the conveyor belt, the ratio with the length L of warp yarns 4 between the arranging pitch P of the weft yarns 5 of a canvas layer 3a and the arranging pitch P of the weft yarns 5 is set as an index with respect to the warp yarns 4 of the canvas layer 3a arranged on a side where compression stress is produced by rotating a pulley and the curving degree of the warp yarns 4 in a woven structure to the weft yarns 5 is grasped on the basis of the L/P value of the index to judge the buckling easiness of the warp yarns 4.
