Glass melt conditioning and homogenization flow channels have a vertical plane E-E and side walls (4) for a flowing glass melt with alternating cross-section changes in the flow direction and an agitator (5) with a vertical shaft. The glass melt is fed through the flow channels which include projections (7, 8) on either side. The side regions of the flow channels have gas burners, supplied with an oxidation gas, e.g. air and/or oxygen, and and heating electrodes. An independent claim is included for a device for conditioning and homogenization of a glass melt as described above. |
