The invention relates to an electronic generator of complex functions with a number of independent channels, galvanically isolated, which, at the output of each channel, generates an electronic signal as wave, frequency, amplitude and synchronous and asynchronous way of functioning, digitally programmable depending on the command. According to the invention, the generator comprises a supplying module (B1) which provides the current and the continuous voltage needed for charging a backup battery (BT1) and the current and the functioning voltage, respectively, a module (C1) for loading/controlling the backup battery (BT1), which provides the automatic control of the current and the voltage charging/discharging a rechargeable battery, a module (MC) of control, centrally equipped with a microprocessor, coupled by an input cable (USB) with a LAPTOP/PALM and an output flat cable, of Local Bus type, with a sufficient number of conductors, with a number of complex functions generating modules (MG1...MG32) each coupled to the same flat cable of Local Bus type as the central module (MC) and which generates, at the output of each, an electric signal as a complex function of wave, frequency, amplitude, the sample period has also programmable output power and which functions on the basis of some specialized soft programs installed on an external support specific to the operation systems of a LAPTOP/PALM, transferrable to the central control module (MC) and to the modules (MG1...MG32) generating complex functions, respectively.
