<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a metallic sheet, by which the accuracy of predicted thickness is improved even when thickness deviation is almost zero and the thickness deviation on the outlet side of a final stand is eliminated when interstand thickness deviation is zero. <P>SOLUTION: When manufacturing the metallic sheet by rolling a material to be rolled with a rolling mill constituted of a plurality of stands, the feature amount of rolling the material to be rolled is measured with measuring instruments installed at plural places (S2), the predictive calculation of the deviation between the measured value of the feature amount of rolling with the measuring instruments on the downstream side and the set value of the measured value of the feature amount of the rolling is performed (S8) by a function which takes the deviation between the measured value of the feature amount of rolling with the measuring instruments on the upstream side and the set value of the measured value of the feature amount of rolling as a variable and rolling reduction at stands on the downstream side of the measuring instrument on the upstream side is controlled (S10, S12) to make the deviation zero. On the basis of deviations (S6, S22) with respective measuring instruments on the upstream side and the downstream side, the coefficients and the constant term of the function is corrected every time the material to be rolled into the metallic sheet. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
