PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the scattering of toner stuck to a seal member provided at the coupling part of a developing unit with a toner hopper for replenishing the developing unit with the toner in a developing device which is provided with the developing unit and the toner hopper separately and where the developing unit and the toner hopper are coupled and used, and to provide an image forming device adopting the developing device. SOLUTION: This developing device 4 which is provided with the developing unit 100 and the toner hopper 200 separately and where the unit 100 and the hopper 200 are coupled and used is provided with the seal members 101 and 201 consisting of parts 101a and 201a interposed between the mating faces of the coupling part where the unit 100 is coupled with the hopper 200 and parts 101b and 201b extended from the mating faces toward the outside of the case, and provided with a cover member 301 covering the part extended toward the outside of the case of the seal member. |
