PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an underwater structure reinforcing method for reinforcing an underwater structure firmly without constructing a cofferdam around the underwater structure such as an underwater concrete bridge pier or the like, necessitating a form for which precision is required in manufacture and assembly, and causing problems of rate of inhibition and increase of time, labor, and cost required by maintenance accompanying with repainting of paint. SOLUTION: In this underwater structure reinforcing method, a continuous fiber sheet 10 impregnated with underwater hardening type resin in the atmosphere in advance is stuck to the underwater structure such as the underwater concrete bridge pier 1 or the like by the underwater work, the underwater hardening type resin is hardened to form a fiber reinforced layer 11, and a part or the whole of the fiber reinforced layer 11 is covered with a protection material.
