In vitro preparation of cells, tissues and organs (A) by growth on a fiber matrix derived from hydrolytically condensed silane. In vitro preparation of cells, tissues and organs (A) using a fiber matrix as: (i) cell support and/or (ii) as conducting structure for extracellular matrix (ECM) produced by the cells, also to allow the cells to adopt a spatial arrangement, to replicate and/or to achieve their genetically determined differentiation. The new feature is that the matrix is made of biodegradable and/or bioresorbable fibers produced by drawing from the spin mass. This mass consists of one or more partially or fully hydrolytically condensed silicon compounds, formed by hydrolytic condensation of SiX 4 X : hydroxy, hydrogen, halo, amino, alkoxy, acyloxy, alkylcarbonyl or alkoxycarbonyl, derived from optionally substituted, linear, branched or cyclic 1-20C alkyl residues, optionally interrupted by sulfur, oxygen or amino. An independent claim is also included for (A) produced this way. ACTIVITY : Vulnerary. MECHANISM OF ACTION : None given.
|
