An implement 1 for washing the human body comprises a base portion having a longitudinal axis and at least one resilient projecting flange 3 extending laterally to the longitudinal axis. The body portion and flanges may be unitary or may comprise a plurality of base members 4 and disc-like flange members 5. The implement may be provided with a central bore 9 through which accord 10 is threaded. The cord may be knotted at either end 12,13 to provide hand grip portions 14 or the cord may be provided with rigid handles at either end. In use, the implement for washing the human body is effective at applying a washing medium to the skin, as well as providing a beneficial massaging effect. |
