FIELD: technological processes. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention pertains to sealing devices for an isostatic press. The sealing device has packing instrument, which can be fitted on an installation tool and is designed for the cover of the isostatic press. The packing instrument can be installed such that there is sealing between the cover and wall of the high pressure chamber. The packing instrument has at least, two separate circular arc shaped segments, which form a closed ring together when installed in the installation tool. The sealing device has a support instrument, which is fixed in such a way that, it limits movement of segments, holding them in the installation tool as well as when removing the cover from the of the high pressure chamber. Description is also given of the method of sealing the cover, the isostatic press, cover, the sealing device holder and use of the sealing device for sealing the cover. The invention increases the reliability of the sealing device. ^ EFFECT: increased reliability of the sealing device. ^ 18 cl, 8 dwg |
