<p>A blow back protection, especially for a gas burner, has a spring loaded shut off valve (12) inside the gas supply duct (2) and with the valve held in the open position by a fluid filled ampoule (15) clipped between a support bracket and the operating rod (10) of the valve. The ampoule is designed to break at a selected temperature. The valve is reset by fitting a replacement ampoule.</p> |
