A control unit for the preference menu of a kimchi refrigerator, and the control method are provided to enable consumers to memorize/select the preference menu conveniently. A control unit for the preference menu of a kimchi refrigerator comprises: a preference menu selecting key which allows various kinds of menu operating at present to be stored as a preference menu; a memory part which stores the preference menu; and a micom which stores the preference menu in the memory if the preference menu selecting key is input, reads the stored preference menu, and then controls the kimchi refrigerator according to the preference menu. The control method comprises storing the preference menu if the preference menu selecting key is input for a precontrolled time or more. |
