EXTRACTION METHOD OF GINSENG STEAMED RED DIETARY FIBER AND GINSENG STEAMED RED DIETARY FIBER EXTRACTED BY THIS METHOD

A method of extracting red ginseng dietary fiber is provided to obtain dietary fiber with the function of promoting bowel movements as well as the function of health food. Red ginseng dietary fiber is extracted by the steps of: sterilizing red ginseng at 90 to 100deg.C with steam under pressure for 1 to 10min and drying to a moisture content of 5 to 25%; finely grinding in a first step and second step; extracting finely ground red ginseng powder with water or ethanol; and extracting cellulose with a centrifugal separator. The red ginseng contains red ginseng root and the root hair of red ginseng in a ratio of 1:1 to 0.2. The extraction is performed by adding 4 to 15ml water to 1g red ginseng, extracting at 50 to 86deg.C for 5 to 15hr and continuing the step 5 to 10 times. Red ginseng powder has a final particle size of 100 to 500meshes. The red ginseng dietary fiber has a size of 500 to 1,500nm.
