An apparatus and a method for removing/extracting a pilot, and an apparatus for receiving broadcast signals are provided to remove DC components from signals outputted from a first calculator and to remove pilot components from the signals, using a high pass filter, for removing/extracting the double pilots of the broadcast signals in several places. A pilot remover(550) includes a first calculator(510), a DC remover(520), and a second calculator(530). A pilot extractor(560) includes the first calculator and a DC extractor(540). The first calculator multiplies a received signal by cos(npi) and multiplies the received signal by 1 and -1 alternately. The DC remover removes DC components from a signal outputted from the first calculator and removes pilot components from the received signals. The DC remover uses a high pass filter. The second calculator multiplies a DC component removed signal by cos(npi). The DC extractor extracts the DC components from a signal rotated in the first calculator.
