<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus capable of invalidating temporarily stored image data which have become unnecessary, according to a level of a user. <P>SOLUTION: The image processing apparatus is provided with an image forming section 6, an image data invalidating means 13, a user confirming means, and an image data invalidating condition setting means. The section 6 processes the temporarily stored image data. The section 13 invalidates the temporarily stored image data for which the processing by the section 6 is completed. The user confirming means confirms a user of the apparatus.
