The device (1) has gas centrifugation units (20) placed upstream of a coalescence filter (30) and placed around the coalescence filter. The centrifugation units are placed against an internal wall of a cylinder cover in which the coalescence filter is placed. An inlet tube (12) introduces gas to be filtered, where the gas is issued from an internal combustion engine at an inlet of the centrifugation units. The centrifugation units include orifices for passing the gas towards the coalescence filter. An oil outlet (13) evacuates oil accumulated in an outlet of the centrifugation units.
