POWDER DETERGENT COMPOSITION CONTAINING A NONIONIC SURFACTANT AND METHOD THEREOF

A powdery detergent composition containing a non-ionic surfactant is provided to minimize or avoid the use of a water insoluble ingredients such as zeolite or silica for forming particles, to prevent caking in a finished composition, and to realize excellent cleaning power and solubility. A powdery detergent composition containing a non-ionic surfactant comprises: 0.1-15 parts by weight of an acidic type water soluble polymer; 10-70 parts by weight of an alkali builder; and 1-30 parts by weight of a non-ionic surfactant. The acidic type water soluble polymer is a polymer comprising at least one unit selected from a carboxyl group-containing unit, sulfonic acid group-containing unit and phosphoric acid group-containing unit.
