A startup protection device of multioperator welding set comprises initiating relays series-connected in the circuit of secondary winding of control transformer. In the circuit of the primary winding of control transformer a timer is in parallel connected, and one of the initiating relays in the circuit of secondary winding of control transformer is series-connected with one of the contacts of timer. In this case to the relay circuit of time control knobs, ballast resistance and additional contact of timer are connected.
