<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for manufacturing three dimensional structure web having good quality, high in bulk, high in absorbency, and adequate strength by using an expensive through air dryer (TAD) costing to install, when manufacturing a fiber web, in particular a web of tissue or hygiene material. <P>SOLUTION: In the method for producing fiber web 12, in particular a web for tissue hygiene material, provided with a three dimensional structure, the fiber web is pressed at a dry content of less than 35%, in particular less than 30%, and preferably less than 25% onto an imprinting fabric (14) by a first pressure field and is thereby pre-imprinted, and in which the fiber web is guided through at least one pressure field (third pressure field) provided for dewatering and/or drying the fiber web.
