<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for an elevator comprising a function for automatically turning off the light inside a car so as to improve a crime preventing effect for passengers inside the car without raising cost. <P>SOLUTION: This control device for an elevator comprises an ITV camera 1 for taking an image inside an elevator car, a landing monitor 2 provided in a landing and displaying the image taken by the ITV camera, a car-inside lighting system 3 provided inside the car, a passenger detecting section 4 for detecting presence of passengers inside the car and outputting a passenger detecting signal, and an operation control section 5 for controlling operation of the elevator and having a conditional automatic turn-off function for turning off the lighting system inside the car in the condition wherein a predetermined time passed after the car is stopped based on the passenger detecting signal, which detects absence of passenger, from the passenger detecting section. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
