<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power closer device of a vehicular door, which prevents influence thereof on a latch unit and contributes to reduction of the number of components and production cost. <P>SOLUTION: A door latch device 1 is provided with the power closer device which rocks an open lever 30 in a door opening direction when the door is operated for opening, to cancel a latched state of the latch unit 20, and interrupts power transmission from a closing actuator 140 to the latch unit 20 when the closer mechanism 40 is shifted to a non-transmission state. Herein, the closer mechanism 40 is provided with an interlocking link 60 interlocking between the closer mechanism itself and the open lever 30, and shifted to the non-transmission state upon rocking of the open lever 30 in the door opening direction. Further, to cope with application of an inertia force to the closer mechanism in a power transmission state so as to rock the open lever 30 in the door opening direction, the location of the center of gravity of the closer mechanism is set such that a force for maintaining the power transmission state is generated by the inertia force. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
