PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a liquid crystal cell in which the occurrence of air bubbles is suppressed in injection of a liquid crystal by suppressing the occurrence of a region where the liquid crystal does not exist inside the liquid crystal cell; a method for manufacturing the liquid crystal cell; a liquid crystal display device; and a method for manufacturing the liquid crystal display device. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal cell includes: a pair of substrates; a sealing member arranged between the pair of substrates; the liquid crystal injected into a space formed with the pair of substrates and the sealing member; and a liquid crystal injection port arranged to pass through the sealing member, wherein the liquid crystal cell is characterized in that atmospheric pressure P<SB>1</SB>, surface tensionσ, a contact angleθ, a maximum length of a flow front L, a dimension w of the injection port in the width direction, and a dimension hp of the injection port in the height direction satisfy the following relation: w×hp>(2LσFcosθ)/P<SB>1</SB>.
