PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a (meth)acrylic adhesive composition and a (meth)acrylic adhesive tape having excellent adhesive properties and improved solvent-saving performance (reduction of the amount of solvents) at a low production cost. SOLUTION: The (meth)acrylic adhesive composition contains a (meth)acrylic copolymer, a hydrocarbon solvent and a tackifier. The (meth)acrylic copolymer has a weight-average molecular weight of 350,000-490,000 and contains an alkyl (meth)acrylate having a 2-18C alkyl group and a vinyl compound having at least one acid group as the monomer component, the content of the vinyl compound is 0.5-5 wt.% in the total monomer component, and the tackifier is a rosin derivative having a softening point of 90-150°C and an acid value of 8-16 mgKOH/g.
