PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fire extinguishing appliance used for the initial fire extinguishing by allowing people living in a house to selectively use water supply sources in a wide range without requiring a large setting space. SOLUTION: A door panel 14 of a hose housing box 11 is opened and a water hose 26 is taken out. A joint part at one end of the water hose 26 is connected to the other joint part of a pipe joint 21 fixed to a back panel 19 of the hose housing box 11. A faucet joint part 29 at the other end of the water hose 26 is connected to a faucet 28 of water service set in a kitchen or bathroom in the house, and a cock 28c is full opened. Then, a water discharging hose 23 is detached from a hanger 31 and drawn out of the hose housing box 11. A water discharging nozzle 24 is turned toward the location where a fire occurs, an open/close valve 25 is opened, and the water discharge is started. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
