The present invention relates to a multilayered ceramic capacitor to improve chip reliability by preventing a decrease in insulation resistance (IR) properties in a high humidity environment, and a manufacturing method thereof. According to the present invention, the multilayered ceramic capacitor comprises: a ceramic main body and an external electrode. A hydrophobic protective layer with the content of Fluorine (F) of 0.2-0.7% is formed on a surface of the ceramic main body exposed between the external electrodes.
