<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens unit which is made small in size in a perpendicular direction to an optical axis, a camera module and an imaging apparatus equipped with the camera module. <P>SOLUTION: The camera module 10 is equipped with a lens barrel 3 holding a lens group 6, an imaging member 11 having an imaging device 12, and a holder member 2 for coupling the lens barrel 3 and the imaging member 11 so that the imaging device 12 may be positioned on the optical axis of the lens group 6. The diameter (outside diameter) of the outer periphery of the male screw part 3a of the lens barrel 3 is smaller than the diameter (outside diameter) of the outer periphery of an imaging device counter part 3b, and a male screw is formed only on the outer periphery of the male screw part 3a, then a female screw meshed with the male screw is formed on the inner periphery of the holder member 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
