<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact and thin imaging optical system or the like. <P>SOLUTION: In the imaging optical system having a positive lens group, a negative lens group and a diaphragm, the positive lens group is arranged on the image side of the diaphragm, and has a cemented lens constituted by cementing a plurality of lenses.
