<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device which can reduce the temperature overshoot after forming images. <P>SOLUTION: This image forming device has a fixing unit 13 to fix the images formed on a paper 2 sheet on it, an engine controller 203 to control image forming, and a controller 201 to send the image forming data to the engine controller 203. The CPU211 of the engine controller 203 counts the continuing printing sheets (S1005) after starting to print (S1003). It changes the fixing temperature of the fixing unit 13 (S1008) when the number of the continuing printing sheets is larger than N1 (S1006 YES) and the number of reserved printing sheets is smaller than N2 (S1007 YES). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
