PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To contrive an Aleut Greenland type paddle so that everyone may easily obtain sufficient propulsive force since the paddle requires skillfulness to obtain the propulsive force because the paddle has narrow blade area and has a different general rowing method, while the paddle has many advantages such as the thinness having excellent portability as a reserve paddle. SOLUTION: The shape of the Aleut paddle is contrived, and is formed into a flap shape by elongating the height of an upper side of the blade. By shortening the height of a lower side, the paddle is formed into a shape provided with a slot on a lower side on an advancing direction side of the rear face. A paddle shaft is offset to a rower side on a rear side. As a result, force of the rower is prevented from being damped in the role since the force is excessively put into the flap part, and much more front water can be moved to a rear side by efficiently utilizing lift.
