<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively prevent unauthorized use of a recording medium. <P>SOLUTION: A device for reading prize information comprises a recording medium 8 capable of storing prize information, such as sum of money and validity, and a reading means 2 for reading the prize information recorded on the recording medium 8. The reading means 2 comprises a control part for checking the validity of prize, the sum of money, and the like and performing an operation, based on the prize information read by the reading means 2, and an output part for outputting determination information obtained by the control part, wherein the recording medium are read in a lump, latest information of the recording media 8 is compared with latest data on the respective recording media 8 recorded in an information management main unit, and definite results of the comparison are stored in the storage medium 8 to prevent utilization of the same medium 8 again. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
