METHOD FOR PREPARING CARBON NANOTUBES HAVING HIGH PURITY AND HIGH DENSITY

According to an aspect of the present invention, provided is a manufacturing method of a carbon nanotube. More particularly, the manufacturing method of a carbon nanotube comprises the following steps of: (a) manufacturing a carbon nanotube powder by injecting a carbon source under the presence of a catalyst; (b) manufacturing a first carbon nanotube pellet by injecting the carbon nanotube powder into a rotary tablet press, and applying a pressure; and (c) manufacturing a second carbon nanotube pellet by injecting a carbon source to the first carbon nanotube pellet, and growing the first carbon nanotube pellet. The manufacturing method of the present invention can enhance purity and density of a carbon nanotube while maintaining the original properties of the carbon nanotube.
