The arrangement has a coolant system (2) provided on a side of an insulator (3), which is adjacent to a heat source (1). A cooling system (4) is arranged on another side of the insulator, which is adjacent to temperature sensible components (5). The combination of the insulator and the cooling system is arranged in series, and the coolant system is operated in such a manner that temperature at its contact surface to the insulator is adjusted. An independent claim is also included for a method for preventing heat conduction between a heat source and adjacent temperature sensible components.
