A device and a method for adjusting the gap between rollers for scoring a signature in a printing press, and a printing press. In order to adjust the gap between scoring rollers automatically to a size optimal for passing of a signature, a gap adjusting mechanism (17) equipped in a printing press (2) and adjusting the gap between a pair of rollers (14, 14) for pressing and scoring a signature (1), a detector (23) for detecting the carriage state information of a print sheet when it is actually fed between the pair of scoring rollers, and a controller (24) for controlling the gap adjusting mechanism such that the gap between the scoring rollers matches the carriage state information of the print sheet detected by the detector are provided.
