PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide image recording equipment conducting communication with external equipment which is able to automatically perform a recording operation by using words, and preventing to have the recorded program overlapped with that of the external equipment. SOLUTION: This image recording equipment is configured to refer to the value of an entrusted flag assigned to programs whose recording has been reserved or the recorded titles by a plurality of recorders which are able to perform a recording operation in an entrusted recording mode, and to, when the value of the flag is ON, acquire information relating to the recording reservation information or recorded titles of the other equipment from the other equipment, and to, when there is information relating to the recording reservation information or recorded titles which are the same as those of its own equipment in the information acquired from the other equipment, refer to the value of the entrusted flag assigned to the information relating to the recording reservation information or recorded titles acquired for the other equipment.
