PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compression device appropriately dealing with data points not used for learning and separating classes when data are belonging to one of a plurality of classes, having two or more-dimensions without class label. SOLUTION: A projection calculation means 310 receives a plurality of data for learning from an input device 100, and simultaneously optimizes distribution relating to the locality of data and distribution relating to a whole part without using any class label, and calculates a projection for compressing data into a low dimension, and stores it in a projection storage device 320. A data compression means 330 compresses the data input from an input device 200 by using the calculated projection, and stores the compressed data in a compressed data storage device 340.
