FLAKY PARTICLE AND COSMETIC

摘要

Flaky particles that excel in slidability and exhibit a high transparency sensation to thereby be free from the problem of becoming whitish during use; and a cosmetic containing the flaky particles. There are provided flaky particles characterized by having an average friction coefficient of 0.50 or below and an overall light transmission of 85% or higher. Further, there is provided a cosmetic comprising the same. Base material particles of the flaky particles consist of a member selected from the group consisting of mica, synthetic mica, sericite, talc, barium sulfate and aluminum oxide. Thus, flaky particles having excellent slidability, transparency and mattedness can be obtained, and a cosmetic excelling in sensation in use and beauty can be obtained by the use of the above flaky particles.
