PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tongue coat cleaning implement being used in one hand and, even when cleaning the side parts of the tongue, used without hurting the inner face of the palate. SOLUTION: This tongue coat cleaning implement 1 which has a head part 1 and a rod-like grip part 3 connected to one end of the head part, is provided with the flat and thin head part having a concave curved surface, which has a trough portion extending in parallel to the longitudinal direction of the rod-like grip part 3, in either one of the front/back faces, and a woven fabric 4 as a sheet stuck to the concave curved surface 1a, having a rough surface and having porosity or multiple voids. When cleaning the both side parts of the tongue, the concave curved surface 1a of the head part 1 is used. This cleaning implement can clean the tongue by just reciprocating the head part 1 while applied onto the tongue, prevent the lateral deviation of the head part and its falling from the tongue and is used without letting the user feel nausea.
