PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems in which washing durability is poor and the qualities such as touch feeling are bad and processing effect is insufficient, though several processing methods have been known hitherto as processing method for imparting anti-pilling property to cellulosic fiber materials in a state keeping nice and soft touch feeling to the skin. SOLUTION: The present inventors found that they can provide cellulosic fiber materials excellent in touch feeling, comfortability for wearing, anti-pilling property, washing durability, etc., by carrying out crosslinking reaction of 2,6-dichloro-4-sulfoarylamino-S-triazine-based compound in an alkaline state and as necessary, carrying out neutralization treatment of the compound in a weakly acidic state, after advancing practical research of modification processing method of cellulosic fiber materials which are kind to the skin.
