A ventilation device having a body, a fan motor, a louver, a display section, a control section, and an operation switch. The fan motor exhausts indoor air, the louver has an airflow opening at its center, the display section displays operating conditions of the fan motor, the control section controls operation of the fan motor, and the operation switch changes operating conditions of the fan motor. The display section simultaneously displays a fan motor operating condition display and a maintenance display urging a user to clean members that form the ventilation device. Thus, the ventilation device displays both the fan motor operating condition display and the maintenance display.
