<p>A device (10) for securely engaing and retaining a golf ball. The device is preferably adapted for secure placement to the end of the grip of a golf club (12), such as a putter, thus enabling a user to use the club to extend his/her reach and pick up a golf ball from the ground of from within the golf cup. The device preferably includes a mechanism (30) for releasing the ball that may be actuated with the foot of the user, thereby premitting placement of the ball on a tee or the ground without the user having to bend.</p> |
